Flake Epoxy Systems
Garages, carports, commercial buildings, driveways.
About Flake Flooring
Flake floors, also known as chip or broadcast floor, are known for their first-class chemical resistance, durability, and cleanability. They are most popular in garages, shops, commercial buildings and even driveways.
Our Installation Process
Inspection
We inspect the floor to check for moisture, hardness, and cracks/imperfections.
Grinding
We grind down the concrete to expose the aggregate to ensure a solid bond with the epoxy is made.
Cutting and patching
Open up any cracks or imperfections and fill them with our patching paste to help strengthen the concrete as well as fill any possible holes from pitting.
Base coats
We install a moisture vapor barrier if needed/requested as well as the first coat of epoxy that we will broadcast the flakes into.
Broadcast/topcoat
We broadcast the flakes until rejection, after it dries we scrape them off and apply a final topcoat to seal it all in.
